As
I start to heal, I experience the challenge of taking it slowly.
Remembering not to rush back into old practices allows me to
integrate what I have learned from my experience. Today, I can not do
what I was able to do in the past. Using the pain to guide my pace
makes it less likely that I will slip back into same patterns. I will
use the discomfort to remind me back to the present while I actively
attend to my next steps.
