I
found Rock on the back deck this morning. Without much thought, I
threw it over the side. Then it occurred to me that I had no idea how
Rock got there. It hadn't been there yesterday.
This
got me thinking about how many times I encounter something unusual in
my life, but don't really take it in. I just toss it over the side
and move on.
Today,
I will be on the lookout for more experiences that show up in my life
that are unusual. I will be resisting the impulse to toss then over
the side before taking them in.
